Learning a New Thing
I am always looking for ways to transform my inner self. Whether it is from reading a new book to acquire knowledge or trying the latest exercise routine. There is always something new to learn.
My latest adventure was kickboxing. I felt pretty good after the first class; but class 2 was a different story. I pushed a little harder, trying to convince myself that the pain I was feeling was related to the lack of exercise over the past few weeks. It turned out to be the opposite. My body was reacting alright, but not in a good way. Let's just say it ended with a trip to the emergency room.
When we dare to venture outsdie of our comfort zones, it can be painful. It can cause us to doubt our decisions and actions to the point where we become paralyzed by fear and doubt. Yet when we move towards that which is meant to be good for us, we are often richer for learning from the experience.
I am not hanging up my gloves jus yet!
